We created Wantworthy for one simple reason: because we needed it. As we browsed our favorite sites, we struggled to keep track of the things we wanted. We found ourselves opening up tons of tabs, bookmarking endless product links and even trying to save screenshots in Word documents as we shopped. There had to be a better way, so we decided to build it.
And what an adventure it’s been since saving that first pair of shoes onto our Wantworthy lists. Over the last several months, we’ve watched our simple tool turn into a bonafide addiction for us and users from around the world.
We’ve heard your stories about how Wantworthy has made your shopping lives better. You’ve planned vacation wardrobes to locales from Africa to the Caribbean. Wantworthy’s helped you get exactly what you want for you birthday, so you never have to get another stationary set from Aunt Mildred again. You’ve collected and compared dresses for some of the happiest times of your lives—from proms to graduations to weddings. You’ve compiled new wardrobes for your sartorially-challenged boyfriends and hunted for the perfect furniture for your homes.
Most importantly, you’ve told us that Wantworthy holds a special place in your heart. That as you’ve grown your Wantworthy lists, you’ve found yourself crafting your identity and personal style in a way you never could have before.
We’re honored that you have given us the privilege of providing a home for all the things you want. And accordingly, we felt we owed it to you to continue to make Wantworthy even better. We wanted to build a new version of Wantworthy that was even more beautiful, simple and user-friendly.
Today we’re excited to show you the new Wantworthy. We’ve re-designed everything and we think you’re going to be just as obsessed with it as we are.
First, we re-imagined what a Wantworthy list should look like. Your list is now simpler and less cluttered, allowing you to see more of your items at once.

As we browsed through our lists, we wanted to get a closer look at our products without the hassle of opening a pop up or new page. So we designed an amazing new preview feature that allows you to view a larger image, add an item to a group, delete it or mark it as purchased, right from within your list.

Viewing items by store, type or group is now even easier. New drop down menus at the top of your list allow you to view exactly what you’re looking for. Want to see all of your shoes? With one click you’re in your own personal shoe-heaven.

Collections are now Groups. We’ve redesigned grouping to make it as effortless as possible. Simply open the preview of any item and select or create the group you’d like to add it to from the drop down menu.

We’ve also renamed the Wantworthy button to, simply, +WANT and re-designed the pop up. The pop up now makes it even easier to select the correct image to save and has a new home icon to bring you back to your list.

We had a lot of fun building the new Wantworthy and we can’t wait to hear what you think. Please send me any feedback or comments to lauren@wantworthy.com.
We can’t wait for what’s to come for Wantworthy and we’re so thankful to you for helping us get here.
Now go play with your new lists!
